The Long Battle

My road with cancer has been a long one. My best friend was diagnosed with leukemia 12 years ago, my husband with brain cancer at the same time and now I have experience breast cancer twice in the last 3 years. Throughout all of this, I have learned a lot from those around me about how to make it through. Physically, treatment is hard, but emotionally cancer can be brutal. Throughout my battle and now my husband's again, I have chosen to blog my experience in hopes of helping others. I also have links to my friend and husband's blog that hope to do the same. I'm going to check out your blog Tasha! Writing is a great way of expressing what's going on "inside" and I find it is great therapy :) I look forward to reading your blog and hopefully meeting you some day. Keep spreading the word that this DOES happen to young women! I was 35 at diagnosis...how old were you?
